These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PocketBAS (the "App"), published by PocketBAS LLC ("we," "our," "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Professional Use Disclaimer

PocketBAS is a field reference and productivity tool, not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, licensed review, or manufacturer documentation. Wiring diagrams, device information, and other reference content are provided for general informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying accuracy, applicable code compliance, and manufacturer specifications before performing any electrical, mechanical, or building automation work. Use of this App is at your own risk, and PocketBAS LLC is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from reliance on content within the App.

Subscriptions & Billing

PocketBAS offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription with additional features (e.g. I/O Checkout Wizard, AI Field Assistant).
Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) and automatically renew until cancelled.
Subscriptions purchased via the App Store or Google Play are billed and managed through Apple or Google, subject to their respective terms.
Subscriptions purchased directly through our website are billed via Stripe.
You may cancel at any time; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law or platform policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Copy, redistribute, resell, or republish App content (including wiring diagrams, device reference data, or reports) without our written permission
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes on the rights of others
Attempt to circumvent subscription verification or access Pro features without an active subscription

Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including diagrams, illustrations, text, and the PocketBAS name and logo, is the property of PocketBAS LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. © 2026 PocketBAS LLC. All rights reserved.

Your Data

I/O Checkout reports and job data you create are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up or exporting any data you wish to retain. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is fully accurate or up to date.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PocketBAS LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on reference content or loss of locally stored data.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
